The Corporate-NGO Partnership Development Initiative enhances the ability of companies and NGOs to partner for mutual benefit by facilitating cross-sector collaboration. The resulting experiences and lessons learned will be used to create tools and provide training to raise the quality of philanthropic endeavors in China. An award will promote innovation and best practice by recognizing and encouraging outstanding partnership.
China faces a wide variety of social, environmental and economic challenges. Solving these in such a large country is a herculean task, yet one that is urgent for China’s—and the world’s—continuing prosperity. Although China is developing its own solutions unique to its context, it also needs new ideas and expertise from other countries. The cross-country events to introduce localized foreign NGO programs in China through a pro-bono model. The series events are planing to be held in Beijing, London, New York City and Hong Kong by November.
