BSR Releases Report to Promote Foundation-NGO Cooperation

BSR released a research paper   on the current state and drivers of foundation-NGO partnerships during a Foundation Innovation Roundtable held at Social Innovation Week in Shanghai.

The research was carried out through interviews with nine foundations and grassroots NGOs and analyzed the challenges of foundation-NGO collaboration in China. The report identifies six barriers commonly faced during partnerships between foundations and NGOs and presents five recommendations to enhance cooperation.

The Foundation Innovation Roundtable was jointly held between BSR, the Narada Foundation and Intel Foundation to stimulate dialogue between local and international  nonprofits, as well as to drive innovation among the foundation sector. The event attracted more than 50 experts and top leaders in China’s nonprofit sector, including Susan Liautaud, the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society.
